What to Expect from the New Jeep Gladiator?

Set to hit the market in 2020, the Gladiator will offer a range of options geared toward high performance. These will include a rugged design that takes cues from the Wrangler SUV, as well as powerful 4x4 drive system and a collection of touches and tweaks designed to optimize it for all-terrain driving.

The Gladiator will also offer options for two distinct and powerful engine options. These will include:

  • A 285 horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 capable of 260 pounds-feet of torque
  • A 260 horsepower 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 capable of 442 pounds-feet of torque.

Combined with options for both a six-speed and eight-speed transmission, the Gladiator will be capable of a best-in-class towing capacity of 7,650 pounds.

More Than Just Performance

Beyond horsepower and torque, the Jeep Gladiator will also come with a solid selection of comfort and media amenities. This will include the popular Uconnect infotainment system, complete with a built-in touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and more.
